New Signing Experience, Save as Template & Audit Trail API

A redesigned signing experience brings Draw, Type, and Upload signature options into a single modal, while a new Save as Template action lets you turn any sent agreement into a reusable starting point.

New Signing Experience

• Redesigned Signature Adoption. The signing modal now features three tabs — Draw, Type, and Upload — letting signers choose how they provide their signature and initials in a single, unified flow. The new design is fully responsive and works seamlessly on mobile.

Propper Sign Enhancements

Save Agreement as Template

• One-Click Template Creation. After sending an agreement, a new "Make It A Template" button lets you save it as a reusable template instantly — recipients are preserved as roles with PII stripped, and all annotations carry over.

Tagging Editor Improvements

• Smarter Date Defaults. New date fields now default to US format (MM/DD/YYYY) for consistency.
• Dark Mode Fix. Field labels now render correctly against the white PDF canvas in dark mode.
• Preview Mode Polish. Font styles, alignment, and text formatting are now fully reflected in preview mode, and radio bounding boxes are hidden for a cleaner view.
• Anchored Settings Panel. The field settings panel is now anchored within the sidebar layout, eliminating scroll conflicts between the canvas and settings panels.

Bulk Send & Parallel Agreements

• Bulk Send CSV Fixes. Resolved issues with CSV-based bulk sending for smoother batch agreement creation.
• Parallel Agreement Routing. Fixed an issue where parallel agreements with multiple signers at different routing orders would only activate the first group — all recipients now receive signing URLs correctly.

Sign API

• Audit Trail Download. Two new endpoints let you retrieve audit trail data programmatically: GET /v1/sign/agreements/{id}/audit returns the full JSON audit record, and GET /v1/sign/agreements/{id}/audit/pdf streams the certificate PDF. Explore the Sign API
• Agreement Filtering. The list agreements endpoint now supports filtering by recipient email, date ranges, template, creator, and agreement type — making it easy to find exactly the agreements you need. View API documentation

Platform

• New UI Enabled. Our refreshed user interface is now live for all users, featuring an updated layout, improved navigation, and a more polished visual design across the platform.

• Resilient Authentication. Momentary network blips no longer flash the login screen — auth state is preserved during transient connectivity issues, with errors only surfacing after sustained failures.
• Document Auto-Recovery. Documents stuck in a processing state now automatically recover after a brief timeout, eliminating the need for manual intervention.
• PDF Text Rendering. Fixed an issue where special characters (zero-width spaces, Unicode symbols) could cause PDF rendering errors during agreement completion.
