Signing Attachments, Mobile UX Redesign & Template Fixes

This release introduces attachment support during signing sessions, a redesigned mobile signing experience, and a batch of quality-of-life fixes across templates, agreements, and the signature adoption flow.

Propper Sign Enhancements

Signing Session Attachments

• Drag-and-Drop File Attachments. Signers can now upload files directly within a signing session using a new attachment modal. Drag and drop or browse to attach multiple files (PDF, DOCX, and more), with the ability to remove files before submitting. Attachments persist across page reloads and display a file count badge on the annotation field.

Mobile Signing Redesign

• Streamlined Mobile Toolbar. The mobile signing experience has been refreshed with a compact zoom dropdown, simplified header, and an icon-only Finish button for a cleaner, less cluttered interface on small screens.
• Full-Screen Thumbnail Navigation. On mobile, the page thumbnails panel now opens as a full-screen grid overlay, making it easier to jump between pages in longer documents.

Signature & Initials Dialog

• Focused Adoption Modal. The "Create Your Signature" dialog now opens scoped to the field type you clicked — signature or initials — showing only the relevant options and stored items. The Type tab is now the default, so signers can adopt immediately without switching tabs.

Agreement ID Stamping

• Stamp Agreement ID. A new option in the agreement wizard lets you stamp a unique agreement ID onto the signed document, providing built-in traceability for compliance workflows.

Reliability & Fixes

• Agreements List Refreshes Instantly. Deleting, voiding, canceling, or recalling an agreement now updates the list immediately without requiring a manual page refresh.
• Template Names Save Correctly. Resolved an issue where renaming a template in the wizard editor was silently discarded on save.
• Duplicate Recipient Emails. The same email address can now appear at different routing orders on an agreement, matching industry-standard behavior for workflows where one person signs in multiple capacities.
• Consistent Recipient Colors. Recipient color assignments on the info step now match the prepare step, eliminating cases where two recipients could share the same color.
• Dark Mode Canvas Fix. PDF annotation overlays (completed tags, field highlights) now render with correct light-mode tokens on the always-white canvas, fixing readability issues in dark mode.
• View vs. Edit Labels. The agreement action menu now correctly shows "View" for completed and in-progress agreements, reserving "Edit" for drafts only.

API

• OAuth Client Credentials Fix. The client_credentials grant no longer fails when the application creator is not an active organization member. Per OAuth2 spec, this grant authenticates the application itself — not a user — so the membership check has been removed. API client permissions are now derived from OAuth scopes for more accurate access control.
