eSignature Migration Tools, DocuSign®-Compatible API & Mobile Improvements

eSignatureAPITemplatesPlatform

Switching to Propper just got a lot easier: you can now bring templates and completed agreements over from DocuSign® or Adobe® Acrobat® Sign, manage it all from a new Integrations hub, and keep code built for the DocuSign eSignature API running against Propper's new compatibility endpoints. (One more change: release notes now arrive every two weeks, aligned to our development sprints, so this note covers everything since July 1.)

Easier Migration to Propper

  • Adobe Acrobat Sign Migration. You can now import your Adobe Acrobat Sign templates, including library documents with their form fields, and bring your completed agreements into Propper so your history lives in one place. Large libraries import reliably in the background, and imports work with current (v6) Adobe API accounts.
  • Higher-Fidelity DocuSign Template Import. Imported DocuSign templates now carry over template settings and CC recipients, keep field placement and anchor positions true to the original, and clearly flag anything that could not be mapped so you can review it. The templates list refreshes automatically as each import lands.
  • Import Multiple Templates at Once. The template import dialog now accepts several template JSON files in one flow, so restoring or moving a set of templates is a single step.
  • A New Home for Integrations & Migration. DocuSign Connect and Adobe Acrobat Sign now appear as connection rows with a live status badge and clear Connect and Manage actions in your organization's Integrations settings. Migration tools, including Google Drive and Dropbox file imports, are consolidated in the same place, so there is one obvious spot to connect a source and watch progress.

DocuSign-Compatible Sign API

  • Envelope Endpoints That Speak DocuSign. The Sign API now accepts DocuSign-style envelope calls: create-and-send in one request (with real recipient routing), inline signer tabs placed at create time, a live recipients list (with tabs included on request), full per-recipient tab management, template create and list, and the embedded-signing view round trip. If you have code written against the DocuSign eSignature API, it can now talk to Propper with minimal changes. See the Sign API docs
  • Adobe Compatibility Endpoints. New list and state endpoints round out compatibility with the Adobe Acrobat Sign v6 API surface.

Propper Sign Enhancements

  • Bulk Send from Your Templates List. You can now start a batch send directly from the templates list, instead of hunting for the entry point elsewhere.
  • Text-Message Opt-In for Signers. Recipients who get signing notifications by text now confirm with a quick YES reply the first time. This keeps Propper aligned with US carrier texting rules and keeps your notifications deliverable.

Fixes & Reliability

  • A Clear View for Expired Agreements. Signers who open an expired agreement now see a dedicated page explaining what happened, instead of a generic error, and requesting a fresh link is protected against abuse.
  • One Merged PDF on Combined Download. The combined download option now delivers a single merged PDF that includes attachments, so you get one complete file.
  • Honest Resend Status. If a resend is blocked by delivery protections, you now see that immediately rather than a false success message.
  • Accurate Evidence for Embedded Signers. Agreement evidence now shows "Embedded" instead of "Email" for signers who completed signing inside your application.

Platform

  • Straight In After Sign-Up. If your email is already verified when you register, you are signed in immediately with no extra login step.
  • Better on Mobile. Core screens are now comfortable to use at phone widths.
  • Headers That Stay Put. The product header and tab bar now stay fixed while the page content scrolls, so navigation is always in reach.
  • Your Logo from the First Moment. Your organization's brand logo now renders on first paint instead of flashing the default logo.
  • Theme Choice That Sticks. The app now defaults to light mode and reliably remembers the theme you pick.
